František Raboň knows which team he will be riding for next year. Following the disband of the HTC-Highroad his future was quite uncertain. But now he is relaxed since he clinched a new deal with a ProTour team.
“I started the negotiations during my two-month break from racing. Now it is safe to say that my new manager is Tony Rominger who is a big cycling legend and who also inspired me in my early years. We´ve been discussing my future since May and I happy to have signed a two-year contract with a ProTour team so my fans will once again get to see me in the world´s biggest races,” satisfied Raboň said.
Details of the contract were hammered out a month ago and two weeks later Raboň signed. “I´m going to announce the team at the press conference early in September because we have a deal in the HTC that we are not allowed to announce the new team until September 1,” Franky added. Therefore, his fans have to wait a while for the official announcement. Presently František is practicing together with Roman Kreuziger in Pilsen and he is set race a ProTour race on Sunday in Hamburk.
